THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB

John was told that the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready Rev.19:7. Then that voice said to John, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ These are the true sayings of God Rev.19:9.” The marriage of the Lamb will be the centre of great joy in heaven at the end times.

Paul explained: For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church Eph.5:31-32. Indeed, it was a great mystery in the day of Paul but then John saw it clearly when the marriage of the Lamb really happened in the heaven.

The church, which is the believers, is prepared to be the wife of the Lamb. Paul wrote: Husband must love his wife just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish Eph.5:25-27. It is called as the marriage because Christ and the church will become one! And what God has joined together, let not man separate Mat.19:6. This is the glorious destination for the church! All believers in this world will unite together as the body of Christ. As we are approaching the end times, believers must definitely nurture the heart of unity and practise the action of unity. Let us be ready to be united together with all believers around the world and in all ages as the bride of the Lamb.

PERNIKAHAN ANAK DOMBA

Yohanes diberitahu bahwa hari pernikahan Anak Domba telah tiba, dan pengantin-Nya telah siap sedia Wah.19:7. Kemudian suara itu berkata pada Yohanes, “Tuliskanlah: Berbahagialah mereka yang diundang ke perjamuan kawin Anak Domba. Perkataan ini adalah benar, perkataan-perkataan dari Allah Wah.19:9.” Pernikahan Anak Domba akan menjadi pusat sukacita yang besar di surga pada akhir zaman.

Paulus menjelaskan: Sebab itu laki-laki akan meninggalkan ayahnya dan ibunya dan bersatu dengan isterinya, sehingga keduanya itu menjadi satu daging. Rahasia ini besar, tetapi yang aku maksudkan ialah hubungan Kristus dan jemaat Ef.5:31-32. Sesungguhnya, itu adalah rahasia yang besar di zaman Paulus namun kemudian Yohanes melihatnya dengan jelas ketika hari pernikahan Anak Domba benar-benar terjadi di surga.

Gereja, yaitu orang-orang percaya, dipersiapkan untuk menjadi istri Anak Domba. Paulus menulis: Hai suami, kasihilah isterimu sebagaimana Kristus telah mengasihi jemaat dan telah menyerahkan diri-Nya baginya untuk menguduskannya, sesudah Ia menyucikannya dengan memandikannya dengan air dan firman, supaya dengan demikian Ia menempatkan jemaat di hadapan diri-Nya dengan cemerlang tanpa cacat atau kerut atau yang serupa itu, tetapi supaya jemaat kudus dan tidak bercela Ef.5:25-27. Disebut sebagai pernikahan karena Kristus dan gereja akan menjadi satu! Dan apa yang telah dipersatukan Allah, tidak boleh diceraikan manusia Mat.19:6. Ini adalah sasaran yang penuh kemuliaan bagi gereja! Semua orang percaya di dunia ini akan bersatu sebagai tubuh Kristus. Selagi kita mendekati akhir zaman, orang percaya haruslah menumbuhkan hati persatuan dan melakukan tindakan persatuan. Marilah kita bersiap sedia untuk dipersatukan dengan semua orang percaya di seluruh dunia dan di sepanjang zaman sebagai mempelai Anak Domba.
